Figure: In-situ pigment concentrations measured during the AESOPS Survey II cruise during Jan 21 - 25 1998.  The pigments measured using HPLC included: chlorophyll-a (CHLA), fucoxanthin (FUCO), 19'-hexanoyloxyfucoxanthin (HEX), chlorophyll-c₁ and chlorophyll-c₂ (CHLC12), chlorophyll-c₃ (CHLC3), 19'-butanoyloxyfucoxanthin (BUT), chlorophyll-b (CHLB) and diadinoxanthin (DIAD) (from left to right and top to bottom).  The concentrations are in units of ug/l.
