The data were first converted from binary to ASCII format (as raw counts) and then calibrated using the calibration factors provided by Satlantic, Inc.  Anomalous data were then removed from the start of two of the data files.  The amount of data removed covered a 30 s time period for the deployment on October 24 1997, and a 0.25 s time period for the deployment on November 13 1997.  No further processing has been done to these data.
