These drifters were deployed with the aid of numerous oceanographic researchers, as well as the captain and crew members aboard the R/V Wecoma.  The main scientific personnel involved in the drifter deployments and data processing included: Mark R. Abbott (PI), Ricardo M. Letelier, and Jasmine S. Nahorniak of Oregon State University.
