The deployment and maintenance of the HALE-ALOHA mooring is a collaborative effort between researchers from the Laboratory for Microbiological Oceanography of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and the Oregon State University (OSU) Remote Sensing Ocean Optics (ORSOO) group.
