On August 11, 2007 a glider was deployed just north
of the Hawaiian Islands. The glider dove continuously to 1000 m depth, returning to
the surface to relay the measurements via satellite after each dive.
Measurements of both physical and biological ocean properties were made
(temperature, salinity, pressure, oxygen, chlorophyll and scattering). The
glider continued to collect data until October 4, 2007, when contact was
lost. This site presents preliminary figures of these measurements as they
were received in realtime.
